GoogleSharing is a special kind of anonymizing proxy service, designed for a very specific threat. It ultimately aims to provide a level of anonymity that will prevent Google from tracking your searches, movements, and what websites you visit.

wpacracker
wpacracker is a WPA cloud cracking service. Upload a pcap file with a WPA handshake in it, and wpacracker will launch a dictionary attack from a 135 million word dictionary across a 400CPU cluster. While a job of that size would take over 5 days on a contemporary dual-core desktop machine, on our cluster it takes an average of 20minutes.

knockknock
knockknock is a simple, secure, and stealthy port knocking implementation that does not use libpcap or bind to a socket interface.

tortunnel
tortunnel is a partial Onion Proxy implementation designed for building single-hop circuits through TOR exit nodes.

sslstrip
sslstrip is a tool that demonstrates the HTTPS stripping attacks which I presented at Black Hat DC 2009.

firemole
Firemole is an extension that allows you to configure SSL-encrypted links to proxy servers. It supports multiple concurrent proxies that are chosen by URL filters that users can configure. No more SSH tunnels.

barada
An Android application and corresponding PAM module that provide SecureID style two-factor authentication without the use of specialized hardware or the hassle of setting up special authentication services.

nellynomore
A tool for converting NellyMoser encoded FLV files to WAV.

sslsniff
A tool that will do a man-in-the-middle attack on SSL connections and, if vulnerable, exploit the BasicConstraints Internet Explorer vulnerability.

fakeroute
A small Linux app that, when run, makes your machine appear to be anywhere you specify on the internet.

libprofiler
A lightweight JVMPI library that will profile thread contention points in Java code. I think I wrote this because most of the existing "enterprise" profilers did not allow you to profile for thread contention points, and those that did were too heavy-weight to accurately execute high performance server apps. I'm not sure whether this is still relevant or not.

mset
A small X11 application that renders the Mandelbrot Set and lets you zoom around in it. I originally wrote this when I was 17, after seeing Arthur C. Clark on PBS.

Pengembangan Sistem Manajemen Kelemahan Keamanan Informasi (SMKKI) Menggunakan Lotus Notes

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototipe sistem yang diberi nama Sistem Manajemen Kelemahan Keamanan Informasi (SMKKI) yang berbasis Lotus Notes dan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan akan manajemen kelemahan keamanan informasi. Sistem ini nantinya dapat digunakan oleh petugas keamanan informasi (Information Security Officer) untuk menganalisa, mencatat dan mengirim notifikasi kepada staf departemen yang terkait dengan keamanan informasi seperti departemen Teknologi Informasi. Sistem ini juga dapat digunakan untuk memonitor status kelemahan keamanan informasi yang terdeteksi oleh alat pemindai kelemahan, sehingga dapat diketahui sudah berapa lama kelemahan-kelemahan tersebut terdapat pada sistem operasi maupun aplikasi. Dengan sistem ini diharapkan manajemen kelemahan keamanan informasi menjadi lebih efisien dan efektif.

Apakah Appreciative Inquiry?


Ap-pre’ci-ate, v., 1. valuing; the act of recognizing the best in people or the world around us; affirming past and present strengths, successes, and potentials; to perceive those things that give life (health, vitality, excellence) to living systems 2. to increase in value, e.g. the economy has appreciated in value. Synonyms: VALUING, PRIZING, ESTEEMING, and HONORING.

In-quire’ (kwir), v., 1. the act of exploration and discovery. 2. To ask questions; to be open to seeing new potentials and possibilities. Synonyms: DISCOVERY, SEARCH, and SYSTEMATIC EXPLORATION, STUDY.

Appreciative Inquiry is about the coevolutionary search for the best in people, their organizations, and the relevant world around them. In its broadest focus, it involves systematic discovery of what gives “life” to a living system when it is most alive, most effective, and most constructively capable in economic, ecological, and human terms. AI involves, in a central way, the art and practice of asking questions that strengthen a system’s capacity to apprehend, anticipate, and heighten positive potential. It centrally involves the mobilization of inquiry through the crafting of the “unconditional positive question” often-involving hundreds or sometimes thousands of people. In AI the arduous task of intervention gives way to the speed of imagination and innovation; instead of negation, criticism, and spiraling diagnosis, there is discovery, dream, and design. AI seeks, fundamentally, to build a constructive union between a whole people and the massive entirety of what people talk about as past and present capacities: achievements, assets, unexplored potentials, innovations, strengths, elevated thoughts, opportunities, benchmarks, high point moments, lived values, traditions, strategic competencies, stories, expressions of wisdom, insights into the deeper corporate spirit or soul-- and visions of valued and possible futures. Taking all of these together as a gestalt, AI deliberately, in everything it does, seeks to work from accounts of this “positive change core”—and it assumes that every living system has many untapped and rich and inspiring accounts of the positive. Link the energy of this core directly to any change agenda and changes never thought possible are suddenly and democratically mobilized.

Appreciative Inquiry utilizes a cycle of 4 processes focusing on:

DISCOVER: The identification of organizational processes that work well.
DREAM: The envisioning of processes that would work well in the future.
DESIGN: Planning and prioritizing processes that would work well.
DESTINY (or DELIVER): The implementation (execution) of the proposed design.

Karakterisitk Seorang Pemikir Desain

Tim Brown (CEO Ideo) mengidentifikasi karakteristik-karakteristik yang nampak dimiliki seorang yang berpikir desain, yaitu:

Empathy.They can imagine the world from multiple perspectives—those of colleagues, clients, end users, and customers(current and prospective). By taking a “people first” approach, design thinkers can imagine solutions that are inherently desirable and meet explicit or latent needs. Great design thinkers observe the world in minute detail. They notice things that others do not and use their insights to inspire innovation.

Integrative thinking.They not only rely on analytical processes (those that produce either/or choices) but also exhibit the ability to see all of the salient—and sometimes contradictory—aspects of a confounding problem and create novel solutions that go beyond and dramatically improve on existing alternatives. (See Roger Martin’s The Opposable Mind: How Successful Leaders Win Through Integrative Thinking.)

Optimism.They assume that no matter how challenging the constraints of a given problem, at least one potential solution is better than the existing alternatives.

Experimentalism.Significant innovations don’t come from incremental tweaks. Design thinkers pose questions and explore constraints in creative ways that proceed in entirely new directions.

Collaboration.The increasing complexity of products, services, and experiences has replaced the myth of the lone creative genius with the reality of the enthusiastic interdisciplinary collaborator. The best design thinkers don’t simply work alongside other disciplines; many of them have significant experience in more than one. At IDEO we employ people who are engineers and marketers, anthropologists and industrial designers, architects and psychologists.

Berpikir Desain (Design Thinking)

Tim Brown (CEO dan Presiden Ideo) merumuskan berpikir desain sebagai sebuah pendekatan yang menggunakan sensibilitas desainer dan metode menciptakan sesuatu yang bernilai bagi pelanggan dan peluang pasar yang berpijak pada kesesuaian antara kebutuhan orang-orang (desirability) dengan feasibilitas teknologi dan viabilitas strategi bisnis. Berpikir desain itu sebuah upaya mengajak kita untuk berpikir layaknya seorang desainer.

Misi berpikir desain adalah menerjemahkan observasi menjadi inspirasi dan inspirasi menjadi produk dan jasa yang mengembangkan kualitas kehidupan. Sebuah metodologi yang menginspirasi individu untuk memiliki spektrum yang luas tentang aktivitas inovatif dengan etos desain berbasis manusia. Seperti pendekatan yang digunakan oleh Thomas Edison dalam menciptakan karya-karyanya.

Berpikir Desain, menggunakan tiga ruang, yaitu:

1. Ruang Inspirasi
2. Ruang Ideasi
3. Ruang Implementasi

• Ruang Inspirasi
Ruang inspirasi ditujukan untuk hal-hal yg terkait dengan motivasi pencarian solusi.
• Ruang Ideasi
Ruang ideasi ditujukan untuk proses pebuatan, pengembangan, dan pengujian ide-ide.
• Ruang Implementasi
Ruang implementasi ditujukan untuk menggambarkan jalan ke pasar.
